Standard-Fastening Set 8 ESD is used in the same way as a conventional Standard-Fastening Set (see Section 1.3 of the MB Building Kit System Comprehensive Catalogue – Fasteners). The special design of the fastening screw partially destroys the insulating anodized coating on the profile groove and creates an electrical contact between the connected profiles.
