The aluminum Guide Rail e 4 is inserted into the special groove that runs along the side of the Fastening Profile.
This combination of Guide Rail and Fastening Profile boosts the rigidity of the roller conveyor.
When Guide Rails e 4 are cut to size, sharp edges on the channel at the top can present an injury hazard for personnel loading and unloading the roller conveyor. The quickest way to eliminate this hazard is to use Button-Head Screw Self-Tapping M5x16, TX25! It quickly and reliably makes the end of the channel safe, without having to spend time manually deburring it, thus lowering assembly costs.
